PVC Vendo negotiates new equipment deal for franchisees

Managers at PVC Vendo, who were purchased by Taylor Made Franchising in December 2018, have negotiated an impressive new supplier contract for their franchisees.

The core piece of equipment for any PVC Vendo franchisee is the pressure washer they use to clean vehicles. Their franchisees work onsite for commercial clients across the UK.

Working often at weekends and evenings when the vehicles are off the road, the franchisees arrive, clean the vehicles and use bespoke ‘ProWash’ software to alert the client that the task is complete and the invoice has been sent. Franchisees could be washing up to 40 vehicles a day.

Until now, franchisees have leased their pressure washers from us, the franchisor. The units had to be returned to us for servicing and all broken parts had to be sent back to us by courier or in the post, before a replacement part would be released.

Some of the units owned by franchisees are approaching 13 years old and although the Chinese copy parts and units have performed well, they are understandably coming to the end of their working life.

We're delighted to say that managers at PVC Vendo have successfully negotiated a contract with Danish manufacturer Nilfisk, for the supply of a brand new unit to each franchisee every three years, complete with full service and maintenance programme, including a 24 hour replacement service using genuine Honda parts.

Despite the vast improvements, franchisees will see a negligible £3 a month increase on existing leasing costs.

Darren Taylor, owner of Taylor Made Franchising said,

‘Supporting our franchisees with the best equipment is something that is important to us across all our brands at Taylor Made Franchising. I’d like to thank David Callister and Mick Heepy at PVC Vendo Head Office, for their efforts in bringing this deal to our franchisees. To be able to give each franchisee a brand-new machine every three years, with an improved service and maintenance offering, for virtually no increase in cost, is superb and I’m delighted we can support our franchisees with this great deal.’

He continued,

‘PVC Vendo has continued to trade well over the last seven months, despite the coronavirus pandemic. Our ‘Sani Clean’ service, which instantly kills the coronavirus on the interior of vehicles, has be well-received by the UK’s commercial transport and haulage sectors and franchisees have been as busy as ever. We still have a few territories available for people who would like to own their own mobile fleet vehicle cleaning business. We have existing national contracts in place with firms such as DHL and Parcel Force, with more coming on board on all the time.
